Russell N. “Rusty” Sewell was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1970 with a B.S. in Textiles and received a law degree from the University of Georgia in 1973. Rusty began his legal career with the Judicial Council of Georgia, followed by the Georgia Attorney General’s Office, and the Georgia General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Counsel. He was the North Georgia Coordinator for the Joe Frank Harris gubernatorial campaign and was Executive Counsel to the Governor after Joe Frank Harris was elected. After serving in the Harris administration, he was a partner at the law firm of Long Aldridge & Norman (now McKenna Long & Aldridge) for four years. He then became a partner at the government relations and public affairs firm of Boller, Sewell & Segars. Tom Boller began his work in public affairs at the National Bank of Georgia where he was Government Relations Officer, then served as Manager, State Legislative Affairs at Georgia Power Company. He launched his own firm in 1986 which is now doing business as Capitol Partners Public Affairs Group, Inc., and is one of the foremost government relations firms in Georgia. Tom graduated from DePauw University and received his Master’s in Political Science from the University of Missouri. He was named one of Georgia Trend magazine’s 100 Most Influential Georgians in 1991 and is still actively involved in the political, civic and business communities in Georgia. More . . . »

Wanda Segars, a native of Athens, Georgia, joined in the earliest stages of this public relations firm, known initially as Thomas M. Boller & Associates, and currently doing business as Capitol Partners Public Affairs Group, Inc. Prior to joining this firm she worked at Georgia Power Company in its Atlanta corporate office. Wanda graduated summa cum laude from Georgia State University with a BBA in Marketing in 1989. University honors included the Dean’s Scholarship Key Award, Golden Key Honor Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Fraternity. Wanda and her husband, Ray, have one child. More . . . »

Hunter Towns has his own public relations firm, Hunter E. Towns Public Affairs, and is associated with Capitol Partners Public Affairs Group, Inc. Previously he served as Government Relations Manager in the Atlanta office of Womble Carlyle. Prior to joining Womble Carlyle, Hunter served as Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue. Hunter graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in journalism, serving as an editorialist for The Red and Black for three years and contributing editorialist for The Athens Banner Herald for one year.
