public affairs strategies. 2007.
Boller, Sewell and Segars, Inc., Atlanta, Ga. Public affairs and government relations consulting firm. Founding partner and President, 1986-2007. Founded and managed one of the premier government relations and public affairs consulting firms in Georgia. Clients included leading corporations and associations in the state (State Bar of Georgia, AGL Resources, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, AAA, BP, Colonial Pipeline, Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Siemens, Georgia Cable Association, etc.).
Georgia Power Company, Atlanta, Ga., August 1977 to August 1986, Manager, State Legislative Affairs. Coordinate the company’s direct lobbying effort with members of the Georgia General Assembly and the executive departments and agencies of state government. Promote political awareness among employees, represent the company at all political functions, and represent the company in various community service organizations and programs.
National Bank of Georgia, Atlanta, Ga., 1975 to 1977, Government Relations Officer. Coordinate NBG’s direct lobbying effort with members of the Georgia General Assembly; monitor legislative activity on the federal level; create, administer and serve as Trustee of NBG’s two Political Action Committees; develop an in-bank political awareness and education program; represent NBG in various community service organizations and programs.
